Was pleased to find a book I’d been searching for for ages. Purchased, only for the order to be cancelled 5 days later because it is “no longer available”. Not a good experience! I thought I’d found my new go-to bookseller but this was so disappointing and means that I wouldn’t trust this website again for future purchases. I will continue to shop elsewhere.

When I searched on-line for this book, alibris never came up as a source and I only found you via another website.

Alibris is amazing.
I have found very hard to find books, often in america, with no problems shipping to the UK.
My only problem is that the website seems to be down in the UK now.
I looked on 'is it down' to see if it was just my Internet but according to 'is it down', alibris has been down for 160 days.
When will it be available in the UK again ?
I hope that alibris see this and can let me know when it will be back up and running.
It will be such a shame if alibris has gone,
I think I will cry.

Easy site to use, clear identification of price and book condition options. Would happily use again.

Clear description of the books, sellers, and buying process, calculation of import taxes, no cluttered pages... very good up to now.

This is the third book I've ordered today from Alibris. I always check out the title with other sellers and predictably they all want hefty postal charges to the UK. Three cheers to Alibris for a flat postal rate, no wonder I keep coming back!Always the best prices and thank goodness for the standard shipping rate US to the UK. For this order I checked out other US sellers, shipping was more than the book price.I'm in the UK, just bought a book to come from the US. As usual, having checked out several other sellers in the US, Alibris is the cheapest for the book and postage because of the standard flat rate. Some other US sellers want more for the postage than the actual selling price. No wonder I keep coming back to Alibris!Excellent service on the website. I've been a customer of Alibris for years.Great prices and flat rate postage. Brilliant.I live in the UK and Alibris is always my first choice if I want to buy American books. I am writing this review in hope that customer service will finally deal with this instead of sending me automated messages.

The book order took 10 days to arrive, posted from a UK seller to a UK address. I paid 32.06 Euro. Why? What can possibly justify this rate?

I bought a dvd almost 8 weeks ago and I had nothing all I had is excuse after excuse no refund they can see where it is says on the 25 April somewhere in California it’s been delivered when they know my address that I live in the uk I’m annoyed with this company if I don’t get my refund soon I have to take this matter further it’s not right being treated this way I thought the Americans were honest decent people

Never a problem shopping with Alibris. I've been using them for around 24 years now, with no hassles.I've been using Alibris for over twenty years, with no problems. Always one of my top "go to" sites.

I found it very easy and convenient to find what I wanted, even though it's a rare book.

Almost find what is needed at fair prices. Used this site for years both when studying and simply for getting through life

Website would not let me check out as guest, the only option once it recognised I had an account was to log in to that account. As I didn't know the password, then I had to go through the whole loop to reset the password, by which time my shopping basket had become empty, necessitating start again from scratch. Very annoying.
